Help Us Give the Humane Society a Great Christmas!
It’s BACK! We are excited to announce that we’re partnering with the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County to help support their pet adoption and fostering program, and their highly successful low-cost spay and neuter clinic. From now until Thanksgiving Day, we will donate $5 for EVERY window we cover!
Last year, this program resulted in a staggering donation of more than $1100 to the Humane Society. We are excited to see if we can top that amount this year!
“I’m particularly proud to work with our friends at the Humane Society because of their hard, often thankless work to help our furry friends in the Clarksville area,” said David Shelton, co-owner of Made in the Shade Clarksville. “I love my dogs — and I’m excited to let SilverJack get a little more publicity too!”
About the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County
The Clarksville Humane Society is funded primarily by private donations, and their work focuses on helping to find good homes for unwanted pets through their adoption and fostering programs. They offer a pet food pantry that is stocked by donated product, but their crowning achievement is the new Low-Cost Spay and Neuter clinic.
The clinic is staffed by licensed veterinarians, and operates with the highest level of integrity. Funding for the clinic is — like the rest of their operations — primarily from private donations and grants. So they need every dollar they can from the community to support the effort.
“We installed blinds in their clinic before they opened, and we’re so glad to be a part of their continued success,” Shelton said. “By partnering with Amy and her amazing staff and volunteers at the Humane Society, we can help in tremendous ways.”
