Made in the Shade opens in Clarksville!

Logo-no shadowMade in the Shade Blinds & More, has opened a new location in the Clarksville, Tennessee area. The window treatment company has franchises throughout the United States and Canada.

Local owner David W. Shelton began his work with Made in the Shade at its very beginnings when he created the logo and branding package, and now serves as the National Marketing Director.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Made in the Shade and all of the franchisees and dealers throughout North America,” Shelton said. “This is only a natural step as we offer these incredible quality products and services to the fast-growing Clarksville area.”

Like most Made in the Shade dealers, the local franchise will feature a shop-at-home experience where clients can select the window fashions that are perfect for their windows — in the comfort of their own home. With the wide selection of samples available, homeowners can make their selections with confidence and peace of mind.

The business offers window fashion products from Graber, Horizons Window Fashions, ShutterSmart, and Timber Blind and Shutter. Products are also available from other manufacturers, including Hunter Douglas and Norman.

“I’m especially excited to work with Graber,” Shelton said. “Their parent company, Springs Window Fashions, is a fully green company that has their own forests for their real wood products.”

Graber features wood blinds and shutters, faux wood blind and shutters, shades, natural shades, and soft window treatments for a wide variety of window fashion tastes.

Made in the Shade began as the brainchild of its founder, Cathy Morse, who built her local business while offering business opportunities for those who wanted to buy into the concept. In 2013, the company began offering franchise opportunities. It is now one of the fastest growing window fashions companies in the country.
