Motorized Cellular Shades off Warfield. Blvd in Clarksville
We got a call for motorized cellular shades recently, and the results are just simply stunning! The home has beautiful hardwood floors that had faded over time because of the large windows along the back wall of their living room. Plus, there was a concern for privacy. The client called us after seeing a promotional video on motorized shades and said very bluntly, “I want that!”
Naturally, we were eager to oblige! The large picture windows overlook the beautiful scenery of their landscaping, and the client was equally clear — they wanted everything to be completely hidden away when not in use. No draperies, no shades, no nothing. Just big, pretty windows.
The challenge was obvious — could we have our cake and eat it too? But of course! We’re Made in the Shade. This is what we were born to do.
The motorized cellular shades were the easy part. It was a matter of selecting a style and color they liked. Then, we decided to have two channels – one for the windows, and one for the doors.
Then, it was a matter of tucking away the assembly. Their beautiful woodwork needed to be seen in all its glory, so covering it wasn’t an option. Our solution was elegant and simple — Graber Wood Cornices with matching paint.
By installing the cornices over the shades, they appear as part of the trim work of the rest of the home. When the shades are lowered, it completes the look!
We’re delighted with the results, and couldn’t wait to show off the finished look!
