Nothing warms a room like Graber shutters!

For the ultimate in window treatments, Graber Shutters are among the best in the industry. From the warmth and classic feel of Graber Wood Shutters to the easy-to-clean and care for Graber Composite Shutters, there’s an option for everyone.

We’re proud to partner with Graber — not only because of the excellent craftsmanship, but also their industry-leading, limited lifetime warranty. But the best feature about shutters is the improved resale value of your home! Shutters are the only window treatment that increases your home’s value — because they are a permanent fixture of your home, measured and installed specifically for your windows. If they’re off by even 1/8″, they won’t fit anywhere else.

The only thing that would make this picture more inviting would be to have a fire going!

At Made in the Shade, we work hard to make sure that every shutter fits each window with laser precision (and we mean that literally since we use our professional laser measuring hardware to get the perfect measurements). Every window gets an 8-point measurement so that we know exactly the size and shape of your frame. It’s peace of mind with every panel.

Plus, we include installation with every sale of Graber shutters. There’s no “extra” hidden fee — just solid pricing no matter what.

So what makes Graber shutters so special? Well, for starters, most of our panels are assembled on THIS side of the Pacific Ocean, which means you can get them installed in just a few weeks, instead of a few months. Rapid turnaround is always a good thing, and we work hard to get your panels in your windows in a timely manner.

Graber Shutters: Wood or Composite?

Graber Traditions Wood Shutters are manufactured from treated American Basswood, grown on tree farms carefully managed under Graber’s strict conditions. Every speck of wood cut is used in one fashion or another. Even the sawdust is used for heating the plant. Nothing is wasted.

Each panel is cut, trimmed, sanded, and either painted or stained. There is no MDF in any of our Graber products, so you’ll have peace of mind knowing that this is a true wood product, not “wood-based.” It’s the real deal. Every time. Every shutter.

Composite shutters are manufactured with primarily a PVC material, so you’ll have the confidence that each panel will not only be made completely solid, but will stand the test of time. Don’t worry about cleaning — a simple sponge with soap and water will wipe off whatever gets on there.

Composite shutters are perfect for high moisture areas — bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and even garages!

Be sure to check our our gallery of various shutters we’ve installed recently — and who knows, we might show off your shutters soon!
