Solar Shades for Rudolphtown in Clarksville

We got a call from a A. Waddle, who lives near Richview Middle School in Clarksville, who presented us with a special challenge. She wanted to replace her old blinds with something different. She also had an arch over her doorway that needed special attention.

“I want to be able to see through them,” she said. “Even when they’re down. I just want it all!”

We had just the right product for her: Graber solar shades! We selected a beautiful fabric that blended well with her wood floors. For the windows, we opted for a standard continuous loop chain. For the doors, we upgraded to cordless lift. We added a cassette valance to all of them.

And then there was the arch.

“It just lets in so much light that we need to tame it somehow,” she said.

“What if we were to motorize it,” we suggested, “and put a nice wood cornice over the shade so that it looks like it belongs with the room?”

It was a perfect solution. We put the same solar shade fabric as on the doors and windows, and installed it just over the arch. That way, it’s still visible when it’s up, and she can lower them with a touch of a button using our Somfy™ single-channel remote control.

The finished install was absolutely gorgeous — so we had to show it off! Ms. Waddle absolutely loved the finish product:
